Human Resources Training

Overview

Under the direction of the HR department at Sam Houston State University, I built a training program for all building liaisons on campus. Given a basic PowerPoint, my job was to create a more interactive program using Articulate Storyline to be embedded in the Cornerstone talent management system. 

Process

After receiving the PowerPoint from HR that contained the information required, I reviewed each slide to get a better understanding of the focus of the training program and the audience it was intended for. I then began to build the content out in Storyline in a visually engaging manner. This required the use of some basic graphic design as well as meticulous attention to detail. I also placed narration in the presentation using Storyline's text-to-voice function and engaged appropriate triggers for each slide. The last step was to preview the entire program to verify that all information was correct and that the module worked as intended.
